Brace yourselves.
Ruralmama is out on the town, on her own (the occasionally let me out of the asylum). As fellow homeschoolers, you must be in perfect understanding of why I'm so thrilled. What on Earth could she be doing out on her own, you ask?
Shortly I will be volunteering at our local library for their annual book sale. I guess my name rang fear in the hearts of my fellow townspeople, because I will be working alone. All by myself, for 2 hours!
I didn't realize I was that repugnant...OK, I really AM just kidding, there.
So, why the blogging? Well, in my earnest excitement to get out of my house for the adventure... I left a full 2 hours too early.
I live 8 miles away from the library.
So, with an hour and a half to kill, here I am blogging my silliness to you.
I am so bloody excited to be out on my own. I can barely stand it.

LOL, now I'm laughing because I think you mean "redundant" because I am positive that you are definitely not repugnant! Enjoy yourself, it sounds like a lot of fun, of course I LOVE the libary, it's my favorite "get out of the house for awhile away from the kids" place to go!
Erin: Oh, I wish I was just redundant. I'm not the "popularest" cookie in the tin. I'm the one with like 2 chocolate chips in it that everyone avoids until there's nothing else left. Then I'm grabbed up.
But I don't let that bother me--I still get out there and do stuff.
The sale was actually a little boring, but I got to read a bunch, which was very nice.
